The Ford F-150 is the best selling 'car' in the world – but is it deserving of such an accolade? Join Mat as he reviews the F150 Lariat SuperCrew version, which is armed with a 2.7-litre V6 engine and two turbochargers! It has an output of 325hp, gets 520Nm of torque and goes from 0-60mph in around six seconds! But is it really worth that $47,000 price tag? Let's see!

There's more storage space in that truck than there is inside your average UK home.

it's the best selling vehicle in Canada too!

The extra travel makes it easy to modulate the brakes. Great when you put a few tons behind it. ( I use my f150 as a truck)

Adjustable pedals! That's a flipping great idea! When you are tall and lanky like me the pedals are always too close even with the seat full back in some cars. And even when seats do adjust back far enough the steering wheel is often out of reach (notable exceptions: most BMWs, Mercedes C and E class, Mondeo Mk IV). Wish more cars here had adjustable pedals!

I have a 2018 f150 Lariat, super cab, 8ft bed, very smooth ride, very capable truck, Running e85 on the 5.0L very quick and snappy. Its a winner. great for road trips, great for work, everyday.

Great to see an outsider’s perspective on our insanity.

Arguably one of the best selling in Kuwait along with all the other American pick ups and large SUVs.

I have 3.5L 2015 Lariat. Fuel mileage is around 22mpg hwy and 16 city. Yes it's not as smooth as SUV but still very comfortable for long cross country trips. No rust issues with the aluminum alloy body. Still looks like new after 5yrs. Love my F150!

That Ecoboost is a pretty decent engine. That truck will easily get 20+ mpg just cruising down the highway and the power ain’t bad. Glad I got to rent an XLT last year for a road trip.

What's happening with the second part audio, it's so hard to hear what you are saying 🤦‍♂️

The interior doesn’t have expensive quality materials in it because the plastic is durable and it has large buttons in case you have gloves on. Obviously most people who buy this won’t be using them out on the ranch like *REE DRUMMOND MY GIRL*, but it’s built like that for the people who do use it for work.

I remember the time when Carlos was working for Motor Trend. The good ol' days of Ignition and Head2Head

I am genuinely loving these American car reviews, would love to see more of these like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Lincoln Navigator, Escalade, etc

They say “car” because a “pickup truck” has too many syllables

The smaller engines are fun and all, but if you haul heavy loads and keep the truck for long, you'll quickly notice how quickly these smaller engines will ware down.
The V8 may not be as fuel-efficient, but it's definitely the more reliable option and you can get loads more power if you decide to modify it.
The 5.0 is the same Coyote motor that's in Mustang GT so aftermarket support is HUGE, replacement parts are plentiful and cheap and people know how to tune these engines.
