While Robin Williams character Daniel wasn’t perfect, in his defence his ex-wife Miranda vindictively tried to cut him out of their children’s lives as much as possible, without even considering what the kid’s wanted.

Mrs. Doubtfire goes to extreme lengths to stay in his children's lives but calling him evil is crazy. Evil for being a loving father?

It's made thematically clear that had Qui-Gon survived his duel with Darth Maul, Anakin would (beyond reasonable doubt) not have turned to the dark side. Dave Filoni has pointed out the music score is called "Duel of the Fates" because it's deciding the fate of Anakin. So, no, Qui-Gon is not evil, and him *not* living longer, i.e. playing no more role in the narative, is the only reason real evil takes root.

Qui-Gon DOES NOT belong on this list. Mistakes do not make someone EVIL.

While I don’t disagree with Willy Wonka being a villain, I think an even greater villain is Grandpa Joe.
He pretended to be bedridden for years but then starts dancing when he finds out Charlie won a golden ticket. He is also the one who convinces Charlie to try the Fizzy Lifting Drink, then when Wonka refuses to give them the prize Grandpa Joe plans to give Slugworth the Everlasting Gobstopper.

The mental gymnastics needed to call some of these characters evil is actually insane.

Daniel Hilliard isn’t evil; he just wants to be with his children in disguise 😊

Anakin would've turned out better if Qui-gon lived

Miranda Hillard was the villain in Mrs Doubtfire
She was clearly seeing Stu while still married to Daniel looking for one excuse to divorce him, denied Daniel custody of children without cause, cut his visitations short, and rejected Daniel’s offer to watch the kids for free out of pure spite.

By contrast, I appreciated that they didn't make Stu an outright villain. He was supposed to be in the original script, but they made him more nuanced and likable. While he disappears after the restaurant scene, he could still be dating Miranda.

I disagree about Daniel in Mrs. Doubtfire, he's not evil he just doesn't know how to balance his clumsiness with the love he feels for his children

Paul did not have the choice once he started the holly war.
And when he saw everything clearly enough it was already late. What he supposed to do? Lay low and, make freeman die without leadership, after pitching half the galaxy against them? He took responsibility of a rooler, as he should have done.

Qui--Gon doesn't deserve to be on this list. If he hadn't died when he did, Anakin probably wouldn't have turned to the dark side. Plus, his mother, Shmi didn't die "alone and enslaved" she was married to Owen's father, Cliegg, who freed her. She was kidnapped by the tuskens because they tended to do that kind of thing.

Why do I feel like Miranda it’s actually the villain of the movie. She attempts to isolate Daniel from his children and divorces her husband over a birthday party. also, I think she and Stu might’ve been having an affair.

This list should be called: Top 10 characters we want you think are evil, but they really aren't. Or top 10 good characters that made some bad choices.

The real villain of Mrs. Doubtfire is defenitly the mother

Some of these are evil, but most of them are just selfish and misguided, that doesn't necessarily make them evil. Just an opinion.

John Hammond was really evil in the "Jurassic Park" novel. He rightly deserved his death by compsagnathus in the book, a fate he escaped in the film.
