How To Fix: Your Connection is Not Private, Google Chrome, NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

\Your Connection is Not Private error on Google Chrome with error message "NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID" is caused because of SSL issue on web server. Most of the time this issue is caused because of bad SSL configuration SSL certificate. But sometime it might be because of your web browser.
If you are getting your connection is not private on your google chrome browser with NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID, then you can solve this problem to solve that issue.

go chrome settings > Privacy and security > security > Manage certificates, and then delete any google certificates that's it .

Your information is still secure because Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit [Web name] right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

This is on a site I actually own. I had 8 people go check and we all get the same error message. my ssl certificate is fine and I have a IMac I also cleared the browser and went incognito as well as went on my phone and changed browsers on phone and computer. SAME message
