I love the “ one for you and one for you “ 😭

Here’s the recipe and directions !!
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (melted)
4 table spoons brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons all purpose flour
3 tablespoons of chocolate chips

Directions-
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Set aside.

2. Place the softened butter and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Use a fork or a whisk to mix together until smooth and homogenous.

3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the egg yolky and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

4. Scrape down the bowl and add the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until just combined and no streaks of flour remain.

5. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

6. Divide the cookie dough into 2 big cookies and place onto your prepared cookie sheet 2 inches

7. Bake at 350°F for 11 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still gooey. Allow to cool for 10 minutes on the baking sheet until set. Enjoy!

Thank you, I tried it and it was good! We don't have an oven so I just use the stove, put in a casserole, and some stainless rack then a parchment paper. I also don't have butter so I substituted it with oil (same amount, but I figured, maybe next time I'll reduce it to 1 or 1½ tbsp). I also don't have chocolate chips, so I added another. tbsp of cocoa powder for that. I cooked it for 13mins at high heat, and it came a bit undercooked, followed your advice to let it rest for 10mins and became better. It turns out gooey and crunchy, I guess my modified version turns a bit more crumbly than yours, but it still holds the shape pretty well, and surprisingly not too sweet, which I love. I'd try reducing the sugar by ½tbsp next time.

Ok so mine are currently in the oven, and I used the exact measurements and everything to the dot but mines was a bit more sticky and it says to soften the butter. I’ll tell y’all how it tastes just out of the oven

Edit: so they look absolutely amazing I added some sea salt and they taste majestic they are amazing try it
