Our secular society has destroyed the beauty of being with one person and having a committed relationship. Things like: porn, the notion of casual sex, the grass is always greener ideology, promoting adultery as glorified in tv shows. It's disgusting.

I had a 2.5 years relationship with my ex bf and if he wouldnt have died on cancer we would be still together. Wed be still together with all the happy, serious, fighting and loving moments. When he died, a big part of my own died too, it took me two more years to recover more or less to normal.

I’m gonna push back on that. Certain societies all throughout history and all over the world have had extremely successful civilizations that operated under a multi amorous structure. This has been observed in certain regions of China, Africa, South America, and North Asia. Do multi amorous relationships often result in turmoil within the context of western civilization? Absolutely. But to say that it is fundamentally unstable is simply inaccurate.

When one finds oneself feeling devalued in any relationship the smart play is always to pull the emergency brakes and if there's no hope jump to safety.

If you believe in true love it is the joining of yin and yang in harmony and appears effortless and laughter filled.

If you want to be someone's one and only never settle for less.

OTOH if no kids are involved and people want to slut it up that's not for anyone to judge.

OTOHH if someone tries to persuade you to do shit you don't naturally wish to do you are being used and abused.

When kids come into the picture there can be jealousy and time management issues. He is right! People don’t want to take responsibility for their actions. It’s just the arrangement between same kind of people who doesn’t want to take responsibility and they react on their instincts without understanding them.

It’s lack of self awareness and running away from the hard work one put to become self aware about themselves and their feelings and emotions. This is always gonna leave their partners being neglected then they add more people and the more they run away from accepting reality the more they add. Thinking it’s the solution!

It’s a modern expression of depression in my opinion which can’t be neglected. Rest people can fool themselves in thinking they are fine!
