I struggle with depression and attempted suicide as a meat eater. I'm not completely vegan yet, but as I consume less meat and more plant based food, I find my mood improving. Thanks for debunking that bullshit article.

Thank you for clearing up the B.S! Also worth considering that Vegans/Vego's are often depressed due to the overwhelming ignorance of the masses and their support of the animal holocaust. Unfortunately, the most aware and intelligent people are often the most sensitive.

My mood disorder has vastly improved since going fully vegan! It wasn't an overnight change but I have been able to almost completely go off all my psychiatric medicine!

I'd say it's easy to get depressed when you realize how many people don't care about animal suffering or the environment or when loved ones don't care about their health or bully you for not eating as they do. When you are a woke vegan it's hard to stay happy when you think about the world around you.

Excellent rebuttal of the stupid article. Some people (like Authority Nutrition, and groups like them) say that eggs are healthy because of their Omega 3 content but the arachidonic acid cancels it out and causes inflammation.

As of May 3 2016 I have not eaten any meat for 5 months and 2 days and I feel sane and my over all health has improved. thank you : )

I have had trouble with anxiety and panic attacks for the past two years. I stopped eating meat a few months ago on a hunch that it would help. While I haven't been cured, I do notice a significant difference in my episodes. They are fewer and I bounce back really, really fast. The only changes I have made was abstaining from meat.

I honestly feel you can't generalise this and relate mood and cognition to diet - to a certain extent. I've always had bouts of mild depression growing up whilst I was a meat-eater but I suffered and severe depressive episode with pscyhotic symptoms when I was a vegetarian. I really don't think it had anything to do with my diet and everything to do with my social circumstances at the time. Like you said correlation does not mean causation and I don't think these 2 factors are directly dependent on each other.

Thank you for your amazing videos. You give me more arguments to bring up in discussions which is great. I always say that informing is better than blaming and you talk about the topics in a great way that makes the "meat eaters" less likely to go all ego-defensive. Plus you simplify many articles that people otherwise might find hard to read and/or understand which is great as well since it helps spread the knowledge. I really hope you continue to upload and that your channel grows a lot because you truly deserve the views.

Aaaaah long live sciency people :) Love how accurate your references are . A lot of the time you read article online or even books where it seems that the authors are trying to persuade and not actually trying to convince people by vaguely metioning vague as fuck observational studies. This video reminds me of nutritionFacts.org's vids but you know more fun to watch
