If all they were going to do was give a ticket to the owner of the property for illegal grow did they really need to smash out all the car windows. The whole thing seems a bit overkill just to write a ticket to someone for illegal grow. 3-4 months later they will be harvesting again.

it is blatant cannabis slander to basically say that this is the only part of the work force where this happens. happens in construction, landscaping, and pretty much any other workforce.

1) a worker owns an $75 thousand dollar Lexus? Give me a break. That's one of the owners!
2) the cops drive up blaring their sirens. What for?...other than to warn people they're on their way.
3) Cops smash the car windows? WHY? ...other than to just destroy.
4) the workers are all committing crimes (a violation of their green card status). But they're given money and sent back to New York City?.. This is NUTS.
5) A completely worthless story.

This sounds more like a scam than trafficking to me but I'm not a lawyer.

Why did the police have to smash out all of their windows on their vehicles? Am I missing something, seems like blatant destruction of property imo.

I live in California and work in construction and trust and believe I’ve seen the same kind of trafficking going on with construction and landscaping. Nancy chairman said we need all imigrints in America to pick the fruit due to the shortage. This is a fruit. They want you to believe this is human trafficking.

That's why I grow my own. We are allowed to grow 6 per person, 12 max per property, here in Arizona.

Can't imagine a grown man breaking the glass out of those vehicles. Just did that to make these people more destitute sad

You are so naive, that woman was lying through her teeth, she knew what she was doing was illegal and she did it for the large amount of money she was paid.
Those people are not victims, they are criminals.

I love how they come up with the numbers like roughly 8.7million dollars worth of cannabis.. but yet the going price for a pound on the streets is roughly 2000$ whole sale. So 1000 x 2000 is actually only roughly 2 million worth. Not 8. And the price per pound in California is only like 1000$ per pound and only 500 at best from a known illegal source. So this is no where near the actual value of the cannabis unless sold gram for gram at retail price not wholesale prices.

The lady doing the talking is the owner I bet. I can almost bet all my money to say they’re all partners in this and are playing dumb and complete liars. And if she was living in that trailer the bed would not be full of stuff. That’s her office.

This doesn't seem like trafficking at all. These people are not telling the truth.

Again it is called indentured servitude. You are basically a slave. But you get a little amount of money for food and supply. But only enough for those basic needs. Nothing extra. They don't want their indebt servants to be able to save enough money to leave or pay of their debt. Almost like America does with the poor working class.
