This is crazy I grew 4 pounds in the backyard this year . It's legal now here in michigan . But to think of the lives and time lost due to grams of a plant is absolutely insane

It's appalling that US law enforcement is still so worried about Marijuana. Not like there aren't dozens of more important things to worry about

If they were first time offenders with no criminal record you better believe they would have been in prison. Seems like law enforcement doesn’t want to deal with real criminals and just wants to harass people.

Wow and there's people in prison in Louisiana serving life sentences behind way less than that

How in the heck do you get caught with 240 pounds of marijuana and not do any jail time definitely some serious rating 🐀 going on here. And some very sloppy, police

So they're telling us that they let the marijuana get transported on a plane went to baggage then picked up and then they pulled the people over and arrested them. So my question is is the airline in trouble for transporting marijuana.

My dude had 5 pounds in 2000 and got 7 years in ohio. Shits absolutely crazy. They need to just legalize it across the board and be done with it. I get this is still a crime and they did good to me with the punishment. It's far better than prison time. I think probation and obviously no flying for 5 to 7 years would've made more sense but they're starting to get it figured out.

Your lawyer gets 50, 000 in cash slides 20, 000 to judge. Your told to only use local lawyers. Seizers equal tax dollars to be stolen later by public officials say that.

Knew a friend who got busted with lbs in his trunk back in 2010. The state he was in on the way up to NYC arrested him, jailed, posted bail, 6 months later went to prison for 5-7years. (Out in 4 with good behavior) dude had a felony record and couldn’t find work. Took until 2018 till I heard he started putting his life back together. All for marijuana.

It’s weird that anyone ever cared about this, and even weirder that some states are still pushing prohibition. And cops take it so seriously.

These guys had to have been undercover, the numbers and the sudden dropped charges don't make sense.

This happens if either u a c.i. or u know your laws... Someone I know real well got caught with like lbs coming through the mail, but he made the lawyer file a "motion of discovery" I think it's called( when the evidence had to be present in court) well the city (VILLEPLATTE, LOUISIANA)police department was and is still so corrupt had stole the evidence and put it back out on the street, so it was not a ld, oz, or g in FACE NO CASE) all charges
