Heel Pain is most commonly caused by Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spurs. Pain ranges from mild to severe and can cause other health issues if left untreated. Common home remedies for heel and foot pain include resting, stretching, and icing the area.

You can also target heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis and heel spurs with a patented orthotic that uses Fascia-Bar technology to relieve pain and heal the underlying conditions.

00:01:50 About Heel Seat orthotics

This video was a collaboration between certified foot specialists, experts, doctors, and medical illustrators and animators. It gives a visual explanation of heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, and an explanation of Heel Seat inserts.

In plantar fasciitis, the main ligament affected is the plantar fascia ligament, which connects the heel bone (calcaneus) to the ball of the foot, creating the foot arch. It is made of small fibrous tissue, and is commonly injured when the hind joint complex becomes loose. Overuse and worn out or ill-fitted footwear are common causes of injury.

When this area is loose, the plantar fascia is overstretched and small tears are formed, causing pain and inflammation. Stretching and icing are usually recommended as a first step towards reducing pain and inflammation.

Heel spurs are a calcium buildup that can sometimes form on the bottom of the heel bone. Many people don't even know they have heel spurs, but they can cause pain when your body's weight from walking compresses it into the fat pad of the heel.

Common treatments for heel spurs include stretching, icing, cortisone shots, and prescribed orthotics which may cost up to $600, or even surgery.

The Fascia Bar provides acupressure relief directly to hot spot areas to lift the plantar fascia ligament into its natural position and realigns the biomechanics of the foot. The pressure from the Fascia Bar keeps spurs lifted off of the heel pad, to prevent pain. The walls around the heel area help rebuild the fat pad of the foot for natural relief.

Heel Seats were tested in a clinical setting, as well as by professional athletes before being released to consumers. Heel Seats should be worn as often as possible and may provide immediate relief, or a noticeable pain reduction within the first 8-30 days.

Im an avid runner and constantly had pains due to strenuous use. I tried icing, i tried foot pads, even doctor and physical therapy consults, nothing relieved my pain and brought me back to my running conditions until i started using the HTP heel pads...i highly recommend this product if you are in the same boat as i once use to be!!!!

Great video!! I run at least 4 times a week & have been finding myself with constant heel pain. This video really opened my eyes to the main cause of my pain. The heel seats are my next upcoming purchase to fixing my heel pain.

I have been using the heel seats for 6 months now and they are great. Surprisingly durable and still in good condition. They are a much better fix than the horror stories I read about online about people paying thousands for foot surgeries that were not successful. Best 30 bucks I've ever spent.

I bought these and although they do help, they have not "healed" my foot pain, my issue may be completely different then yours so I would recommend trying these as the cost is low and the offer a money back guarantee

very informative (visually) on how it looks inside and under the foot when foot walks! most do not show those bands under the foot connecting to toes but only show the main fascia band . Heel spurs was illustrated well too.

I'm pretty sure I have planter fasciitis. For years I've had jobs and still to this day, work at a job, where I am on my feet the whole shift, except of course break time. Also have been quite the regular walker. Don't always wear the best shoes. I work a job that requires slip resistant work shoes and hard to find those in good supportive form.. they are awful. I need inserts or some thing. I have dull heel pain most bothersome on left foot. Right foot is not as bad. on the left foot; ball of my foot right on the fascia band, calcaneus and Achilles Tendon are all sore as we speak.

Have plantar fasciitis. I had it in my left foot mainly upwards towards my toes but after awhile it went away for the most part. But just recently I got it in my right foot but right in the heel. It hurts to even stand on. When I do basketball I do really intensely exercise so thats how I keep getting it. But I'm scared because I read if you dont treat it your foot can get really messed up. I have average shoes nothing special some with less support than others. I hope I can get these things.

I was played by football, one the play started, I took off in an awkward position and fell too the ground. I could barely walk on my right ankle. Every time I walked, I feel pain in my Achilles and my hamstring, and this injury never happened to me ever.
