PC vs PS5 Performance Mode - Fortnite

On PS5, performance mode is for the hardware.
on PC, performance mode is for the player himself.

Pc has an insane visual advantage!!! All that vegetation is completely gone! Remove forced cross play

I'm on xbox 120 fps & god I wish they'd give us performance mode on console. At the very least let us turn shadows off

ps5 all have teh same spec, pc can range from Nasa to Toaster....

PS5 look good on performance mode but only 120fps. PC performance mode look awful but can be over 500fps.

This is why when I get a new gpu I’m not changing my graphics. Overall it feels more not smooth when I turn the graphics up anyway. (This is even when I have a high refresh rate at high fps)

this is just an option in the pc and its really good because you can see the enemies, you can also make the graphics better than the ps5

I think thats because the low settings (with the exception of the distance settings) allow for better visibility and you can run the game at higher resolution (for visibility again) while still getting a really high frame rate for that competitive edge
