What I eat them since a child because thats like the most common type of clam that most of our local market sells. Taste quite good and need some knowledge to prepare it to avoid the foul smell and supposedly danger lol

Huh? As long as you clean them properly it is fine. It also depend on the source i think. Been eating those for years and I am fine. Actually, this is the first time I saw that many blood on that clam.

What with this fear mongering for this specific clam? All clam and oyster are bottom feeders hence the risk is there for all types of them. What is more important is to always cook your food before you eat any of it. Why not spread awareness and focus on fast food products that spread all over the world with its GMO foods?

I eat the same clam since very young. The different is we clean and boiled it first. Not eating it raw.

Yangtze is a big river running across the middle of China. While Yellow River is further north. They are different rivers, not the same.

Oh shit. We've been eating this clam for decades until we have shortage. Now it's farmed and people kill each other to steal them.

The quality of the environment where seafood comes from affects the quality of the meat. So choose good quality seafood.

I’m from Malaysia and I’ve been eating this all my life. I don’t know what the heck this video is all about. Maybe it’s just something that happens in China.

"Shellfish probably isn't too high" wait, isn't a normal thing to be afraid of those things? ;U; i thought it was like a common fear, i am terrified of these things, i remember when I saw one once moving like that i felt my whole body shaking, felt itchy, felt like something similar to when you listen to someone run their nails on a chalkboard, mixed to when you see a cockroach flying

We've been eating this since childhood here in Philippines, We have lots of varieties of clams here but this type is very common, You'll just need to scrape a knife on muddy waters on our shores and you should find some, Haven't had any issues with health since. 😂

the culprit is the polluted environment...not the clam
