Like most closed minded Westerners - I initially thought it was woo-woo. But I've got complext PTSD. I've tried around 7 meds, drugs/alcohol, 10 different therapist, meditation, TMS. And this is one of the best, most immediate methods I've tried. I'm noticing certain days when the stress amps up I need to implement it more often (it's not a complete cure - but nothing is) but for sure I can go from hating myself and my life to feeling good within 5 minutes

For whatever reason, tapping totally works! After I randomly had some major habit changes after doing YouTube eft, I decided to take an eft training course 1 & 2. I learned a lot!! I still need to do the big piece level 3 to be certified but I have a lot of work to do on myself first.
Sometimes it works so well that it’s like the issue dissipates as if it was never an issue and you’re left in a memory haze wondering why that thing was ever an issue.
I’m currently working on doing something called the Personal Peace Procedure where you tap on all the childhood/life issues you wished never happened. It’s a lot of work for me. There’s crying involved during, but afterwards I feel much lighter! It’s called work for a reason. Also you won’t have to do every single little issue that ever happened….there’s an effect that happens in eft that clears many events at once. I want to go to a practitioner because at some level, youtube eft and self work do not cut it. It’s hard to see yourself clearly ya know? And it’s good to have guidance. It’s easy to get lost when doing the work yourself. Today I tapped on the event of my mom not buying me a feather boa when I was 6. It’s seems silly but I started to realize I took away a deeper meaning from that event surrounding self worth. I still have more work to do on that, but that event seemed pivotal. More interesting to me that I never bought one for myself as an adult. But I bought my daughter one. She didn’t care of course😂.
After eft the event has no emotional charge for me. I was left thinking rationally about it. My mom was a busy single mom who didn’t have time to vacuum the feathers, she’s violently allergic to feathers and she had an abusive impoverished childhood. A feather boa was a problem 😂 it also made me realize all the other times my mom found my exuberant expressiveness to be something to quiet and control. She wasn’t trying to be mean. She just has way more issues than me. This revelation sounds so natural now but if you only knew how many years I’ve been bitter at my mother! Eft has helped me with that!

Anyway, eft definitely works. It’s worth it. More efficient if you see a practitioner. It will change your life. This takes time. But you can feel immediate relief with it now.

That was a perfect straight-forward explanation to EFT tapping, wonderful, thank you so much for this 👍🏻😊💯
I personally find EFT to be a huge blessing, it's easy free and anyone can do it wherever when-ever and it does release the emotions because emotions are in layers like onions layers and flower petals and EFT helps in releasing these layers smoothly and gradually so you're stepping step by step into a reality of your own chosen.

It works for me. Whenever I feel anxious or anxious, I tend to use tapping to calm myself down.

I was really interested in learning how tapping works. I clicked on your video and was bombarded by a soundtrack that introduced the video and I was just about to click it off. Then the part where you started to talk began and more music and drumbeats and what have you so that I had to turn down the volume to hear you and that turned you down as well. Totally annoying. I decided to just put on captions turn off the sound and read through the information. This is in no way a judgment on the content itself, but the presentation sends the message into the background and floods the foreground with a wall of sound that obscures the actual message. Hope you will consider this a constructive comment and that is all. Thank you for your insightful message.

So in other words... Tapping does effectively nothing EXCEPT it is a stimulus/comfort seeking sensory experience that encourages us to be willing to engage and process our trauma thereby forming new neural pathways... I'm here for it
