What is Harpies in the Trees?
Hi, I'm Mers and I used to be an avid reader, but life got in the way so I stopped reading for a very long time but decided to change that last year and I want to share what I'm reading and discovering on my journey back into the wonderful world of books.

Horror fiction is my favorite genre, especially the classic ghost story, to read but I will have other types of books in there from time to time. I will be doing book reviews, book hauls, book crate unboxings, creative projects inspired by books, checking out street libraries, exploring cemeteries here in Berlin and more!

Since I have started reading again I am finding new authors that I love, I have become inspired creatively to make things from the stories I am reading and meeting other book lovers too.

Also I should probably mention that the seals are sealers wax, all melted poured and hand stamped by me!

Also, the spookmarks are written by me each month because I am a fan of micro fiction, and I like to challenge myself to very very very short, usually tweet-length stories!

'Nice hiss!' that made me chuckle, huge, as I watch him too. My sister and her kids got into buying MREs as well for rainy day lunch or camping, told me of Steve's channel and I was hooked. I love this subscription service and am so grateful for these unboxings! The Stand sure is big! I read it a long time ago - the unabridged edition which I think that is too - and I don't recall it being quite as big as your copy! It makes me think of the 'read the bible in a year' thing, where people prescribe pages to themselves. Maybe The Stand is worth reading like that. I found it fed in to my liking The Mist and The Gunslinger so hope you enjoy it to revisit King's work!

On the books app on your iPad, they’ve got a section for discounted books that changes fairly often. I just bought an interesting horror/fantasy book (only 2.99 USD) today through the app that seems like something you may enjoy. Strange practice by Vivian Shaw.
