Thanks to your showcase videos, I’ve recently subscribed to abominable and I’ll be receiving the February edition. Looking forward to the surprise element of the unboxing but mainly for the variety of the books which I wouldn’t necessarily choose myself.

I got a 2011 mass market paperback US edition of Night Shift by Stephen King as my mystery book this month, which I already have a paperback copy of. One of my favourites of his short story collections. I nearly bought Reprieve when it was published in hardcover, glad I didn't as I would have had two copies of that too!

Such a nice touch to have the mystery book wrapped in string and sealed with a wax seal, really cool.

Always nice to receive boxes of goodies, even if it is not a stellar month from the Abominable Book Club. I wouldn't read Jane Eyre for Reluctant Immortals, I would read it because it is a classic of the English canon, and for a classic very readable.

13 Minutes by Sarah Pinborough. Apparently voted as "one of the best YA books of 2016" but also contains the warning of "Not suitable for younger readers". Thoughts?
