Daisy is another princess from a neighboring kingdom (Saracha land).

I haven't read the booklet in ages, but it does shine some light on her origins as a native of the mushroom kindom and a direct descendant of its former king and queen.

The movie shows that peach was adopted by the toads when they randomly found her, so she was abandoned. But it was in mushroom kingdom so her family must have had something to do with the warp pipes
