What is TMUX?

Thank you, I finally understand what this program is about. The program is really cool and I was curious if it would be valuable to me.

As someone using a dynamic tiling window manager, the tiling aspect of tmux would not add anything valuable to my workflow. The detach feature is really cool, but with all the virtual desktops I am using (and the scratchpad, which is like detaching) I don't see a benefit for myself using tmux.
