You Can Make Chinese Braised Pork! #shorts #foodie

Ingredients:
- 3 cloves of chopped garlic
- 1.5 lb of sliced pork shoulder
- 1 tbsp of veggie oil
- 1 tbsp of Shaoxing cooking wine
- 1 tsp of sesame oil
- 1 tbsp of sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp of braising sauce
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 0.5 cup of water
Direction:
1. Heat your wok/pan, add veggie oil and sear off the pork, both sides
2. Add Shaoxing wine in, it helps get rid of the bad "porkiness"
3. Add in your sesame oil, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, braising sauce, sugar, and water
4. Cover lid and simmer for 4 mins
5. Open lid, flip the pork and continue to simmer until sauce is reduced
6. Sauce should caramel nicely. Do a spoon test. If the sauce wipes cleanly off of the back of a spoon, it's ready! Don't wait too long or you'll burn it!
