These kind of scams are pretty common on EBAY too. A tell-tale sign is if the seller directs you to an external website to complete the transaction.

My guess is that TMNT book is elusive because Turtles fans aren't necessarily comic book collectors, they're Turtles collectors. The comic is just another item on their shelf or wall. Same thing with Star Wars and Star Trek. Lots of Star Wars collectors buy the comics.
