I agree for the most part, but it's ok to be super casual sometimes with a tee, sweats and hoodie...Time and place for everything

I don't see any use for buying these snazzier clothes if i'm comfortable in a graphic t-shirt and rock climbing pants. i exercise every day, and have a job that does not require require fancy dress. It also helps when you're often assumed to be 10 years younger than you actually are. I get this guy's point. If I were going to an interview or trying to impress someone, ok. That's when i'd briefly switch from Puma running shoes to something more dressy.

Agreed with most...except the t-shirts...I actually work at a high school and on Fridays we have to wear our favorite one...and yeah...I totally get it...however our kids love it.

It depends. Not all men over 40 look the same. Eminem doesn't wear a lot of button up shirts. He doesn't look ridiculous in casual clothes. You can be slightly over casual; you just have to do it tastefully.

I’m a salesman but it’s totally acceptable in the industry I’m in, (I work with electrical industry in low voltage security systems) what can I do to look sharp without seeming aloof to my contractors that are getting their hands dirty? When I do errands I always throw on a graphic tee. The only time i dress up is when im going out. Do you have any suggestions for what to wear when running errands (Home Depot. Walmart)?

First I'll start by saying I'm 55. At least the graphic shirt was specific enough not to wear for older men. However I added the Adidas Badge of Sport big logo t-shirts in a number of colorways and will be buying more colors. I took some getting used to being a walking billboard and this on top of the Original Trefoil Big Logo Shirts in quite a few color ways. I love wearing Adidas it started with golf shoes, then the socks, then this year underwear, and then the Trefoil shirt then from tbere Adidas shorts.
I asked a cop how old I looked he said 35. My hair color is dark brown with a short undercut, and I keep my face clean shaven. I like the way I look when I'm always wearing athleisure wear. I hate wearing jeans so I'll take jogger cargo pants on any cold day. Yeah grey ash sweat pants are no longer for me but even they are far better jogger pants that make for much better styling even for older men.

I don't think all graphic shirts are out of the question and light distress jeans are not a good look the dark jean is always a better look in my opinion but then again we all look different in the things that we wear and some of us carrying in different ways

I'm 48 and I still like to sport that look...

but only within 100 feet of my house or with my dog on a leash.
