That thing you are moving is a capacitive button. It needs to move since it needs to give the "clicking" feeling. Tesla build quality on the screen may be nice (is the only thing on the interior isn't it), but oh men... you should take a look at the pillars, doors, seals, etc. Tesla is trash.
