Afghanistan: New Taliban gov't bans protests without prior approval

The interior ministry of the new Taliban government wants to put an end to days of demonstrations during which security forces assaulted protesters.
The group says demonstrators must get prior permission to protest and officials must approve slogans and banners.
On Tuesday, the Taliban used gunfire to disperse crowds in Kabul.

Here in the US, we need permits to protest. Sure we can spontaneously protests; I have participated in many of these, but the police immediately show up to try and control the protests.

In Australia we are in lockdown more than a year. Protest against the lockdown not allowed. People getting arrested before they going into protest. It's 100% true.
