Any addictions we have, any habits we have that are overtaking and consuming our lives is a sin, unless that addiction is to read the word of God. Without Him, it is impossible to break away bad habits. My sin is the sin of gluttony... eating the wrong foods, not nourishing my body with enough good foods, and now diabetes is running havoc in my body. 2 days ago, I completely surrendered to God because I could not do this on my own. In these 2 days, my habits are slowly changing, and blood sugar levels have shown signs of dropping already! Praise our Mighty Lord. Our helper, our healer, our teacher, the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus.❤✝️🔥

When people have low standards they desire things of lesser quality. When people have higher standards, they desire what is a higher quality. It is easier to raise the bar raise your standards so you can desire what is a higher quality. People cannot tempt you when you desire what’s a higher quality.❤ and this applies to all addictions, including food, addictions❤ diabetes is killing people because sugar is addictive❤

On top of all you that, you may need to have someone help you to cast demons out of you, resolve to hate sin, and then proclaim and walk in your full identity in Christ. If you're a Christian demons can't own you, but sin opens the door for them to cone in a harass you, which only makes your temptations worse. That's why you may need help from a prayer warrior you can trust to confess your sin to.

40 year Christian here.
It's easy to stop all this sin and lust failure.
First thing when you wake up you get filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit must become your best friend.
Everyday.
Be filled every hour of the day and listen to Him.
All the sin problems go away and you are now pleasing God.
There is NO other way.
It is by His Spirit or you will NEVER win.
Laziness is your problem.
Stop being lazy and get with the Holy Spirit.

“Not by might,
not by power,
but by My Spirit, ” saith the Lord of Hosts.

Nowhere in scripture does in say the Holy Spirit was given to convict of sin. Literally nowhere.

It actually says the opposite…it’s convicts us of righteousness. He is comforter. The Holy Spirit is not the spirit of the earthy Christ, the Holy Spirit is the spirit of the resurrected and glorified Christ. He reminds us of our identity in him and how WE WERE CRUCIFIED WITH HIM. In the spirit is OUR death and resurrection.

I really appreciate the effort of what you’re trying to do. But by focusing on behavior modification, you’re missing the mark. God is not trying to improve the flesh AT ALL…he is DONE with it and he crucified it…we are merely to agree and believe in this judgment. Holiness does not bring peace with God. peace with God brings holiness. It’s drenching my conscience in the assurance and in the blood of Jesus that cleanses, it’s enjoying Christ. We are not holy bc we live we holy, we are holy bc Christ himself resides in us. It’s HIS very presence that makes something holy. Not ANYTHING we do.
