I got fired once. I was upset at the time but I'm glad In hindsight. It was a toxic environment and im not the person to quit a job so who knows how long I would have let it drain me.

Don't let getting fired keep you down, learn and grow from it. =D

I don't believe in a dream job, because I don't dream about what I do at work. My "dream job" is any that provides the right work life balance and allows me to pursue my interests without being stuck in a windowless office for 45+ hours a week.

Yes I lost my job with a wonderful hospital of 3 1/2 years. A major corporate company bought our hospital system out and fired thousands of us and closing medical facilities at a moments notice. Not only leaving employees without jobs but patients with no where to go for medical help! I just had an interview with the most dream company and I just tanked the phone interview. I froze. I do not get it. I had really good previous interviews and I felt so confident but to land this perfect interview scared the crap out of me. I just wanted to hang up the phone and cry. I am still waiting to hear back from them. From the memory of the haze/fog of the call I am hoping that I did a good job show casing my skills. Thank you for sharing your experience and tips. I HAVE to get my confidence back so that I can get back to working and bringing in an income!!
