Jody, I can’t thank you enough. I was thrown into welding on accident after a guy up and quit at work about 10 years ago now. First thing I did was pull up your videos with a quick YouTube search and it was game over after that. I’ve been a fan ever since. I’ve listened to every single podcast and still learn stuff from you guys. I want to thank you, I’ve been to places I thought I would never see, done things i thought I would never do and made money I never thought I would make all because of your videos and information you provide. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and I sincerely appreciate every bit of content you share with us.

Just know that some folks really appreciate all of the free content that you have put out for years !!!! Tons of valuable information!!!! I have worked in oil and gas new construction for the last 10 years or so, running a rig truck life was great. 2020 changed that for myself and most of my coworkers. Because of the content you have put out Jody I was able to find work doing aluminum fabrication. If it wasn’t for your information you shared I would have no idea where to begin!!!! So yes !!!! I’ll be happy to to pay for a subscription!!!! I understand not everyone is able or willing to do that but they need to understand the knowledge that you share is extremely valuable and can be used to make a good honest living. Thank you

Have to tell ya, I appreciate your videos. I refer friends and family to them whenever they talk about learning how to weld. Back when I was enrolled in a trades school I'd watch some of your videos from time to time to keep my mind moving towards my goal. Now that I'm doing 100% x-ray // sure wave welding as a pipefitter in a Union, happy to see you're still sharing your knowledge. Thanks!

I stumbled across one of your videos years ago Jody. And it actually kind of got me interested and intrigued in welding and the processes. So I went out and bought a mig welder then I bought a Tig welder. Now I’m just a hobbyist. I don’t do it for a living like some other people probably do. I have kind of been like a little kid waiting for the next Saturday morning cartoon to come out in regards to your episodes. I’ve bought stuff from your store I have the app. I hope that the content that you’ve provided and enriched my life with doesn’t disappear.

Retired welder here that still dabbles with my Miller shoebox tig/stick welder. Wanted to thank you for all your videos, Jody. You're a very good instructor. I wanted to ask if you ever heard of this aluminum preheat trick an old-timer taught me years ago. He told me when having to preheat aluminum because of thickness he said to fire up your oxy/acetylene torch and adjust the torch so you're pushing out mostly carbon smoke. Then smoke up your aluminum piece real good. Next set your torch to your heating points and then start to heat the piece. When the carbon disappears then your aluminum piece is preheated enough to weld. Let me know if you ever heard of this one. Take care DAWG the retired welder from the Show Me State.

This week Jody I'm reaching out to those who I've subscribed and liked on YouTube as far as welding you were high on my list because you showed your audience not just grabbing welding equipment and playing around but how to weld how to inspect your weld and how to learn from your mistakes and progress forward not backwards there are many things that you have shown America and the world in your little corner of welding we all appreciate you and everything you've done again thank you Jody

I noticed a lot of guys use a glove on the rod hand. If you can learn to roll your fingers as you add rod you can use almost all of the rod and you dont have to stop. After using tig on my job an old timer taught me this technique. After a while I could weld bare hand which makes tig so much easier. this is a great video he's using the perfect technique.

Great video. I am a self-appointed pro MIG welder. A couple of classes online, a trip to Lowes, and now I'm a pro. Lol

Aluminum just kicks my butt. I taught myself mig welding, and only picked up tig to weld aluminum. I can even tig steel now, but aluminum is just such a different animal!

Wow! Just what I needed. My semester is almost up for my TIG class. It's been fun up until aluminum (stainless was my favorite), but aluminum has been quite the challenge. Thanks for the tips.
I'm currently using a 3/32 lanthanated rod 30% ep, 180 fqz, ep 60 amps en 90 amps.

I've been pretty successful at preventing the metal from bottoming out.

Totally awesome... I learned some aluminum TIG welding back in Aberdeen Proving Ground while I was in the Army in 2000. This video brought back a lot of memories. Thank you. -- Neil Wiger

Jodi - this makes sense - and I love how it will incorporate other leaders. We all get great value from what you've shared - and i'm sure there are other things I pay for that are not as valuable. I heard Johannas talk about a period of no work he went through, on your podcast. Was pleased to see he is included in your new venture. Best of luck to all of you!
