The formula indicated does not follows reality we calculating. Yes it is correct, but not obvious. I would state the following. area of a tringle is ALWAYS 1/2 THE SQUARE. OR A RECTANGULAR, PARRALEOGRAM, . the formula is base times height divided by two, this is logic, because we do not dealing with 1/2 base, we are dealing with a full base and 1/2 the square, rectangular, parallelogram,

never write 1/2 . 8 . 5 as in your video, even though you put the dot in the middle... Its better using multiplication sign with numbers.
