Coming from a claims adjuster this is an excellent inspection. Nailed it with improper ventilation and heat blisters. Legitimate wind dmg, hoping the insurance paid for this one. You are a great contractor

i.e. Brittle Test, Wind Damage, interior leak inspection, etc....

7 to 10 years on a roof the reason being shingles are just a cheapish way of doing a roof. Better with tiles and slates in UK these roofs last a minimum of 50 yrs also when you ply a roof your going to need very good ventilation system .

ACV policy can still cover roof, you will have depreciation, but depending on policy you can recover depreciation once you replace the damage.
You will be issued a check for ACV, but after repairs you turn in bills and recover the depreciation which depends on age/condition of your roof.
