This recipe calls for whizzing up all the ingredients into a blender, then magically, when baking, it forms its own crust -- no rolling out dough, no par-baking, no crimping. Sold! #impossiblepie

Hey Emmy, as we face these hard times you should do more and more of your hard times and depression era recipes! Not only will it make us remember the part hard times in us history and how we survived, but the recipes could be pretty helpful too!

It’s nice to be reminded that Emmy is actually human like the rest of us and also struggles to lug heavy items out of her cabinets.

I’m currently eating a pop tart

Or to sound fancy for Emmy,

I’m eating a lightly crusted french pastry with a sweet, yet tart cherry reduction. Topped with a cherry flavoured candied frosting with sugar crystals for an added crunch.

Thank you for giving my channel credit for the recipe in the description.

OMG Emmy I’ve been making this pie since the 70’s. It’s my go to for a quick dessert when we have unexpected guests.

Bisquick, is for making more than just pancakes. It's a multi-use mix. The reason you see so many Impossible Coconut pie recipes, is because it was the first one Betty Crocker made popular.

I'm really glad you have this particular sponsor. Most of the sponsors I've seen others get are things I would never use, and this is one I would never use either, as a gay man, but it seems like a really good service, especially for young women.

MAGIC PIE!! Yes, haven’t made this in forever! We used to have this often as kids! So good!
This also works well in a 9x13 pan cut as squares by the way!

As soon as you said "one egg", I immediately thought "ha ha ha ha ha", before you even mentioned The Count. I haven't watched Sesame Street in over 40 years and that's still in my head lol. Poof!

My first job was at 14 in a church daycare run by the Red Cross. Then later for a few months at 18 while hugely pregnant. Coupled with my own childhood and raising my daughter pretty much alone, the Count and Big Bird and Snuffy and Oscar etc etc etc have been a very special part of my life for more than 40yrs. Love that show and all it has done for children everywhere. Thanks for the yummy recipe. My Mom has been in lockdown with stage 4 cancer all thru this ghastly plague. Nursing homes are one of the hardest hit. We have not been able to see her since March. We can now bring things and she isn't eating again. She and I love coconut. Perfect. I wish I could make enough for the entire staff and residents! Assuming they all like coconut...I remember Impossible Pies on the Bisquick box. So fun! Stay safe everyone and God bless!😷🙏😍🥥🥚🥧🍵

I wish you’d consider a Bisquick series. There’s so many recipes I had growing up both savory and sweet. Sausage balls were my favorite! My mom made them every Christmas and people would request them. The easiest thing ever.

The Count: An old myth was to scatter rice at your door/windows because a vampire was compelled to count every kernel.

I love that sponsorship you did, which is not something I ever thought I would say about an ad. Love that there's a service offering discreet birth control and family planning supplies for all the people out there who need it and don't want nosy neighbors and household members to be all up in their business.

Fun fact about The Count: it's an old myth that vampires were obsessed with counting and you were supposed to leave a bag or barrel of grain or rice outside of your house and this prevented a vampire from attacking you because they would be compelled to count all of the grains, before entering to kill you, thus keeping them busy until the sun rises.

I too was afraid of The Count when I was little. Now, every morning when my two cats greet me at the bathroom door I say "2 perfect kitties aaa aaahh" in The Counts voice lol.
