Fructose is absorbed in the small intestines WITHOUT insulin. Isn't that amazing 😍 So fruit is also important for diabetics.

But I love Bread . Had a bagel yesterday..really enjoyed it too .. I also like an occasional yellow Potato.. they are soothing to the stomach ..

You say the glycemic load is low for fruits, is there some sort of a cumulative effect? For example, I saw a list where the glycemic load for a medium-sized apple is 6. However, many people have mono fruit meals so if I have 6 apples for a meal, is that going to raise the glycemic load, or it doesn’t work that way?
