How I'm Using Vim for Everyday Writing

I mean this is great and all. But can I utilize vim while writting in Microsoft Word document. This is because all my reports and work I do is on Microsoft Word and it would be amazing if I can do my browsing, reports, or navigating the file system using Vim. My question is does Vim applicable to be in your system.

How well does it work when you are trying to type in multiple languages at the same time?

Do you use a terminal email client like the mutt? I use many terminal applications, but I don't know if this step would take too much effort.
How about the journal notes, do you use any plugin like vimwiki or vim-orgmode? I'm curious because, I prefer asciidoc over markdown, but I think there aren't good plugins.

How much time did you spend to master at vim, I find it very hard some situations like, when you type 1 letter wrong in word, change it to Edit mode then delete and change back to insert mode, takes some time than normal, how I can handle this situation. Thank you so much
