I’m a retired physicist and, without sounding pompous, have known all this ‘battery car’ and other woke dominated crap to be gobbledygook. Whenever I see ‘reducing carbon footprint’ I just think we would all be better off talking to each other like Bill and Ben. It’s always utter nonsense that those with the least knowledge tend to promulgate.
Our planet has wonderful plants that keep on growing and we harvest them. Carbon dioxide is 100% necessary in photosynthesis and as for those giant tin cans (battery cars), apart from the enormous pollution in their manufacture (most takes place AWAY from the factory), their repair and recycling is dreadfully poor in both application and execution. By the way, have you noticed the MISLEADING ADVERT on TV about some tin can or other. It’s a ‘hybrid’ and in the small print at the bottom gives the range at over 600 miles. It has pictures of the vehicle in the middle of nowhere on a rough track; all with idiots behind the wheel and cringing music.
This range is when ALL the fuel has been used and ALL the charge of the battery. You would end up stranded in a remote spot trying to get somebody like myself to help you - and receiving a very loud Anglo-Saxon reply for your troubles.
