EV's should be a choice of the people, not forced upon us by a tyrannical government regime.

Seeing a person legitimately answering without beating around the bush is refreshing. That man is fit to be in a top position as he seems to have integrity and truthfulness that lacks in a lot of modern day politician administrators.

We should all be driving nuclear powered tanks.

My dude clearly isn’t a politician with a direct answer like that.

Going electric before rebuilding the grid is like buying a large amount of frozen food but you don't have a freezer

Yet states are banning combustion car sales…..Genius

An electric car in stand still traffic uses essentially no energy. An ICE car burns gas just idling.

The ultimate answer: we should keep our horses around.

It's so surreal to have someone in a Congressional committee hearing answering hard questions honestly instead of the newer trend of dodging every question.

Thank goodness for colored-coded subtitles. If I didn't know how to read, I never would have used my ears simply to listen.

Future business plan :
Multi fuel deuce and a half with generator to charge all of the electric vehicles stuck on the freeway.

These hypothetical questions are extreme as hell. If your gas car quits you have to hitchhike.

Imagine everyone charging their car at night

Hey at least he actually answered the question directly. So many politicians are just good at dodging and redirecting or blaming it on the other party

So we’re expected to trust the government with our protection, healthcare, judicial system…and yet, they didn’t even anticipate this question?
Lemme guess, the answer is “wait for FEMA”?

I see a lot of guys saying "oh, but you need electricity to pump gasoline into your vehicle". How often do you have to charge an EV, and how often do you fill the tank of ICEs? Sorry to break it to you, but the vast majority of EV owners charge their cars at home, during the night, every day. If the power grid is down and a natural disaster comes to their direction in the middle of the night, they're screwed, as they won't go anywhere. The owner of an internal combustion car will not be in that situation unless he is wreckless.
