Saints are supposed to be inspirations of kindness and love to all of humanity, but in today's dark new video we're going to introduce you to one saint who would have better served at the side of Satan himself.

The lady was not to be trifled with. That her reputation is still with us, THAT says everything.

This is a misunderstanding. She burnt that entire village when she still wasn't a Christian. After converting to Christianity, she saw the errors in her past sins and she repented. Her story is like that of Apostle Paul.

This woman was not only a saint, she was clairvoyant ! She was apparently calling people "Potato- grubbing peasants" 400 years before the potato was introduced to Europe !!

Don't forget that the US tried to do the exact same thing with bats during WWII. She was a woman ahead of her time.

Correction: The thief who said “Remember me when you go into your kingdom” was the one who said we have been justly crucified and corrected the other thief.

When I saw an angry woman in the thumbnail with a burning village in the background... I knew immediately it was Olga of Kiev.

I don’t think Dismas was the one mocking Jesus, it was him who said Jesus has done nothin wrong and then it was him who said to Jesus remember me as you enter your kingdom and it was Jesus who said to him on this day you will be with me in paradise! Love that part of the Bible

St. Olga is the saint of defiance and vengeance. She’s the badass saint no one should mess with.

Good to hear stories of repentance and forgiveness

Your description of Dismas is completely wrong. Dismas is the one who says they are being punished justly, not the one who mocks Him (Luke 23:39-43).

St. Augustine also liked to say "Lord, make me chaste. But not yet."

The people in this comment section really love to make their own assumptions before finishing the video.
Long story short: her husband was killed so she waged brutal war against his killers. She then went to Constantinople and converted to Christianity. She changed her ways after that. Her story, much like that of St. Paul, is one of redemption. That anyone can know the Light of Christ and become a better person. This is not to say all Saints are perfect. Nobody is perfect except Jesus Christ and Mary

Just like the famously wise philosopher Mario PC port once said:
*"INNOCENCE DOESN'T GET YOU FAR"*

If it was St. Paul, he could go and purify himself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka
