That first sentence. I've been saying for a while that just because someone believes in a god (or gods) and has faith in a religion doesn't automatically make them a good person, or better than someone else. Same how just because someone isn't religious doesn't automatically make them a bad person or inevitable criminal.

Throughout history there have been a lot of bad people who use religion as an excuse to do very bad things. Same how there have been a lot of good people who use religion to do very good things.

Religious beliefs (or lack thereof) is not solely responsible for whether a person is good or not.
