'Open book' exercises to improve back rotational mobility

if you are limited in your golf game or tennis game for having recurrent back problems due to pain in the lumbar and thoracic region due to strain or limitation in rotation this is a great help. this is simple and effective exercise to help improve rotational lumbar and thoracic mobility. exercise is performed by lying on one side. the hip and leg making contact with the floor are kept straight ( hip and neutral and knee in complete extension) . do not supported hip and knee or flex it 90°. the inferior hands supports the flex knee. the exercise involves externally rotating the torso or opening the book until a soft termination. repeat 3 to 5 times on both sides
