Snails are actually one if the most popular delicacies here in Morocco, they taste amazing 😋 but now we don't find them naturally scattered all over the city after it rained it's because they are grown unnaturally inside farms and don't taste as good as the old days 😔

Let me make it clear if it is a sea snail then yes it is 100% halal however if it is a land snail then u could only eat on one condition that is u have to cook it alive otherwise it would be considered as haram plus they are still many debates about the land snail whether is haram or not btw I hope u guys read this and understood it well also he didn’t leave Islam just for eating a snail LoL

I think it's interesting that snails used to be a part of Romani cuisine, because it's one of the few things you could find while gathering food. Yet now, it's being painted as something that's super bourgeois, meanwhile many Roma don't eat it anymore.

you have to eat snails with the fish sauce for snails (you can make it by combining equal parts of fish sauce and water, lemongrass, sugar and maybe some garlic). we all do that in Vietnam and eating snails on cold winter days has been a signature of Hanoi.
