Linguistic fun fact about the question mark: the ? became a thing because in Latin, a question is questio. So when students would take notes they usually put qo as shorthand for questio for things they wanted to ask a question about. It evolved and the o would be written under q to save space at the end of a line. It then evolved into the question mark we now know because it was easier to write it quickly that way.

Your new curator if they find eggs before you guys appear should place an oven/toaster and egg sticker or tag to help identify at a glance who is still baking their eggs and who has eggs ready in their bins.
