Things I've learned in one year so far of youtube.
1. I gained 1, 600+ subs my first year
2. I still have no idea what I'm doing
3. Tags and hashtags BARELY matter
4. Descriptions for shorts are not needed.
5. Be consistent and not worry, and you will see an older video take off a couple of days later.
6. Story telling is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. When making a description for your long form content, literally type it out like it's a book, and the algorithm loves that.
7. Don't give up.

I started my channel last August, and it bothers me to see fake gurus saying that youtube is on "Easy Mode" 😂. No, it's not! It's challenging. You have to have tenacity along with a plan. I've been doing YouTube for 2 months almost and I have nowhere near 77 long form videos and I'm around 890 subscribers and ATM ... Get 1k views an hour, I don't believe I'm lucky, the best, or have production value like the other YouTubers but I am determined to make this my career.
