If Objective Morality Exists, Why Don’t All Societies Agree?

It is important to distinguish between moral perception and moral ontology: subjective perceptions of morality don't contradict the objective foundation of morality.

Not all of societies agree simply because they can't all agree on an "objective" view of morality!

He literally said absolutely nothing, wtf!?

This is a non-answer. He used an example where we look backwards to say, “see the thing everyone agrees upon is wrong!” But the Nazis thought their actions were good. Thats the question he should ask.

A more modern argument would be Israel Palestinian genocide. Christian’s will say that genocide is bad, except…. They are all pro Israel and are cool with it. So if there is a moral law that genocide is bad, Christian’s should have special access to it. As they are pro-genocide it’s more likely there is no standard.

We can use all the examples he gives, is killing a child bad, well as it turns out, we have lots of examples where this is happening during this war, and Christian’s are still good with it. So seems like ya know…a major problem for you.

Because morality is a social construct, morality and objectivity are mutually exclusive. Simple.

Here's a moral dilemma. Should a preacher keep millions of dollars instead of giving it to charity?

If you pay attention, you will notice that what he said actually makes no sense

My question is why don't all people know morality. For example if murder is wrong, why are there murderers? Why don't they know that murder is wrong??

If we define moral nihilism and moral absolutism as follows, where would moral relativism fall?

Moral Absolutism = at least one moral principle cannot be destroyed by man.

Moral Nihilism = every moral principle can be destroyed by man.

Tureks just rambles off a bunch of assertions without actually justifying anything that he says. How does he know god exists, how does he know god is good, how does he know objective morals exist, etc...

The core principles of morality are nearly universal: the prohibitions on murder, theft, perjury, and adultery, and the Golden Rule, are not original or unique to the Bible. What are unique are the supernatural elements. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" is not morality. It is dictatorship. It could (and pretty much did) come out of Hitler's mouth, the "me" being himself.

Oh, and Dr. Turek says "killing homosexuals is wrong." Really? The foundation of his "objective" morality demands death for it. Leviticus 20:30.

Morality is objective and I’ll prove it now with 2 scenarios:

Scenario 1

You take your friend out to eat and say, “get what you want, it’s on me.”
You get a chicken sandwich and your friend gets a pulled pork sandwich. You think pulled pork is disgusting, but you don’t feel bad or get mad at your friend for eating it because you know it’s his subjective decision to eat what he wants.

Scenario 2

You’re sitting in the park enjoying time with your 5-year-old niece. Randomly, some guy comes up and punches her in the face harder than you’ve ever seen anyone get hit. You get furious. Why is your reaction tremendous anger when you tell me and others, “you can’t prove something is objectively right or wrong morally?”

See the point?

And how do you have compassion and empathy for others? Let’s say your family or friends hypothetically lose a sibling that was raped, beaten, tortured, and killed. Then you say to them, “at least the person or people that did this weren’t objectively wrong for doing it.”

You know subjective morality isn’t reality.

"The law is God's nature"? I don't know what that means. Also, was the question posed in the title of the video answered?

Morals are objective?  Must be why they are constantly changing because things that are objective back ever 150 years ago, we are a more moral society know then we where back then.  How can that be if morals are objective?

When this question is reframed as a question of epistemology, the inconsistencies reveal themselves. If God truly has written the moral law on our hearts and revealed to every person his moral law through natural revaluation, then it is quite surprisingly when we see such incredibly divergent views about central moral claims. Abortion, homosexuality, polygamy, eating shellfish and other foods, women’s rights, animal rights, etc. These are all topics which have long been discussed and which many still disagree upon. If God has written his moral law on every man’s heart, then he is either illiterate, deliberately deceitful, incompetent, or he doesn’t exist.

Objective morality is incoherent. Morality comes from our subjective values and intuitions.

The funny thing is you can apply this to subjectivity, too.
You're just proclaiming your morality is the superior one. If the Germans won, they would say that same thing.
