Atheism Can't Justify Objective Morality

Some atheists simply can't distinguish between moral ontology and moral epistemology when we talk about the moral argument.

This is why I can't take the new atheist movement seriously. Hitchins and Dawkins never let their opponent finish a sentence and they always pivot and use insults so they don't have to answer the questions. There was a time when atheists were just searching for the truth. Now all they want to do is steer people away from the idea of a God.

An awful debate from my point of view. Hitchens seemed to have no intention on answering questions which revealed logical inconsistencies under his arguments (maybe I should call them "claims"). He just randomly threw out sarcastic language over the opponent, as if that made him superior in a debate, which was not.

Even atheists gotta admit that Hitchens was being evasive. Every time he's pressed he dances around the questions and misdirects the issue. He always resorts to finger pointing instead of rational argumentation.

The audience seemed so relieved when Hitchens finally found his atheists escape hole to climb into and hide. My hat is off to Mr Turek’s brilliant line of questioning and composure under the circumstances

Hitchens: “I feel I know what’s right, I feel that some things my children don’t need to be told, they already know.”

To me, this speaks volumes to what Frank just said: morality is written on the heart, and Hitchens knows it.
