I tried this the first time and I got it almost right.

But there was one problem that while the ball bounces back the first time and hits the table then it won't bounce back again instead it will bounce forward and then backward and then it decelerates.

But I will keep practicing everyday because practice makes perfection.

Well done chaps. Btw, just to let the newbies, that most pros do not use this serve coz it creates so many attacking opportunities for the opponents.

However, this serve is a great training to develop feeling n control for your other serves

What I find working for me (as well as the tips given in the video) was to actually do the motion very fast and coming to a full stop at ball contact after the usage of wrist and the pinch mentioned in the video. Doing the motion more quickly increases the spin dramatically, however it will take a lot of practise. Beware this is only what I've discovered recently, and might not work for everyone.

Very good tips, guys, it really helped my development for creating heavier backspin.
