Simple explanation: sweeteners are mostly made out of dulcin, and its chemically similar to tylenol which is bitter

I hate these artificial sweetners. That aftertaste lasts for like half a day. And it feels like saliva itself is sweet when it comes from glands into mouth. Disgusting.

Also the fact that it’s about 100 times more sweet than sucrose and thus ur it taste bitter is one reason ur body knows as well

I don't really like sweet things. And especially not natural sucrose. Love aspertame tho. No idea why. I don't like any other naturally or artificial sweeteners.

I can't eat artificial Suger, upsets my stomach. I can taste the chemical aspartame in an instant and I gag. That's how my husband knows his drink is diet because of my taste buds aversion to artificial sugar.

I’m a barista and everytime I have to put artificial sweeteners in peoples drinks I dread it. The dust flys up from the sweetener and gets in my mouth every time. It’s so gross 😭
