I quit all sodas, including diet. I drink water only. All inflammation is gone, teeth brighter, skin better. I also quit sugar and I’ve dropped 35 pounds since January 1, this year! Easy fix for better health and it shows in my bloodwork!

I heard from a professional that it's the opposite. The body knows how to deal with sugar but not with artificial sweeteners.

Let's put it like this to be clear:
Sugar is heroin and sweeteners are methadone.
Neither of both are good for your health, but could use the less lethal and try to quit or at least, minimise damage.

And the scariest thing, is that i didn't made an extreme comparison. Plus, we are all already addicted to this shit from childhood.

I like the part where she is so obviously bias and uneducated within this topic that after the girl asks “tell us why”, she proceeds to not provide any statements of reason to explain why other than using exaggeratives, don’t listen to this quack she’s lying

Not when it comes to sucralose (commonly known as Splenda).

On top of the effects she mentioned (damaging your gut microbiome, which puts your health at risk) it also:

*Alters your insulin levels (the main thing diabetics are trying to avoid)

* Impairs the integrity of your intestinal barrier (reducing your nutrient intake)

* Induces breaks in DNA that produce gene expression in the intestinal epithelium that lead to inflammation, oxidative stress and cancer.

As an MD there are few sweeteners I would recommend, but only one I would down right tell you not to take ever and that's sucralose.
