Great video, and very informative. I love roses, and for many years, always I was very scared to cut them back in case of causing total damage. Now I am very happy with a video like this to demonstrate not only to care, enjoy more blossoms, have a healthy plant but also saving a lot of money continually replacing roses . . Thanks so much.

So glad I found this, we had new landscape planted in the fall and I was wanting too educate myself on when to prune my knockouts, I had no idea that you should wait a year to prune new small roses. Thank you!

😊 Thank you 😊 Thank you 😊 Thank you 😊
We have about 9 rose bushes in our front yard. This is our 3rd year - we have been pruning all wrong. You explained and visually made it so easy to understand. I can't wait to prune with confidence.

Great tutorial and perfect timing. Love seeing your spring property which you left last falls leaves all over. Keeps it looking natural and is also beneficial for pollenators!!! I have two bushes about 10 years old that need a pretty good pruning. Thanks for the information!! Love your channel!

Awesome!!! I learned why we cut at an angle. I have a beloved hybrid rose called “Secret” that tried to die on me last year. I found a shoot coming up from bottom. Will leave it alone this year and fertilize it. Seems like I will treat it like a new plant

Great rose pruning lesson Devin. I've seen other videos and they don't say about cutting to an outward facing bud. I've been growing roses for over 30 years.

How late is "too late" in spring to prune? I'm from Pa too, just north of Pittsburgh, and my rose bush REALLY needs some tlc. It's not too late to cut it still, is it? I'm always scared I'll cut way too much off and then my roses will look like trash all summer. If I cut it now will it still bloom? 🥺
