You may not read this but, your explanation of how to, why and where to deadhead a rose bush is the best I've found on YouTube. Thank you.❤

Of course, I enjoyed another one of your educational videos. Do you know I’ve had roses since 1999, and I’ve been doing it all wrong all those years. I didn’t dead head, I was chopping up my bush. You see, your videos are so very helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to make them. I always enjoy them.

Thank you so much!!! You are the first person to actually reallly explain how to cut/deadhead roses for more blooms.. I ruined all 8 of my knock roses a few years back because I didn’t know how to trim them correctly. I planted 3 new roses bushes in another area (thinking it was the area they were in, (although both are in sunny locations) but now that Ive watched your video and I’m about to go deadhead I can’t wait to see them bloom more roses for me!

Laura, I'm fairly new to being able to enjoy and play int the yard full time. I have 1 acre in the back yard just waiting for me and have so much to learn. I would never have known where to start without your help. So grateful for your teachings in everything about gardening, all aspects of it .I love all the knowledge you provide. Best video I've ever seen on rose's. This will be my first year of trying to prune/deadhead correctly as you demonstrated. I am addicted to watching the video's old and new, then wanting to try out what I've learned .
Thank you from all of us who are "just beginning".

I share this video all the time to people because it’s still my favorite rose pruning video. It’s so detailed and filmed well.

Laura, you’ve taught me so much about gardening and I’ve enjoyed learning from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and time. I’ve worked putting in beds and purchased so many new plants this year because you inspire me. Thank you

Omg thank you for this video. My bf gave me a mini rose for Valentine's Day (because they will last longer than a bouquet and also because we've been wanting to get some houseplants). The only trouble is, I never learned how to care for roses! My grandfather had rose bushes while I was growing up, so I know sometimes they can look dead but then grow back beautifully and so began my YouTube video quest. Your video was the first I came across that got right into what I needed to know - how to prune roses. And you explain why you do it a certain way! I love knowing the "why" behind a "how." So again, thank you for the video! I hope you are still active on YouTube, as I have just subscribed thanks to this informative video!

Informative and helpful! I would love to see a close up of your cuts because I am not 100 percent clear on which direction the cut slope should be. I'm a new rose owner and need a little tighter visual!

Wow, I definitely learnt something today. I've been dead heading and pruning my roses by gut feel, so it is really neat to know there are some guidelines I can follow to help my roses grow and produce better. Thank you so much for sharing the tips. :)

I use the five leaf rule all the time and it actually keeps my tree roses in a nice shape.

Wow! I have always had the worst experiences trying to garden, even with potted plants... I tried them all. I try with all my heart but even cactus, aloe vera and bamboo cannot survive my skills. I am an educated and academic person...do not think less of me...I researched what and how to care for them. Your video somehow clarified for me the natural process of the growth pattern of the rose. I am so excited to learn more from all your videos! Thank you for your video and the abundance of useful information you freely share and clearly demonstrate. I have knowledge-based hope now! Yay!!! Thank you.
