Hi Laura, I just trimmed back my Bougainvilleas. I'm 70 and gardening for over 50 years. I even started a YouTube channel after watching yours for the past 5 years. I did have a 14.5 acre Orchard, but now have a small residential house and yard.

Oh, my husband is definitely going to watch this video. I did this during the fall to some rose bushes and my husband got a little upset with me. I told him him I was going to set him down and watch your video so he will chill out about me trimming the rose bushes. So thank you for this video...😉😊

Just what I needed now that spring’s on it’s way and I’ve just moved and gotten my very first garden 😁

My one suggestion when pruning roses, and this comes from an optometrist is wear eye protection! He told me once a thorn in your eye can actually be worse than a metal fragment because of the bacteria it can bring in.

I just pruned my roses last weekend. Its my first spring in a new house and I was sooo nervous to prune them. This video makes me feel better and gives me confidence that I can cut them back even a little more! Phew!
