Best way to expose SLOG3 in LOW LIGHT Scenes

I made this video because when I first started to shoot slog3, I really struggled with noise in my images, especially when shooting low light scenes. I saw everyone else shooting Slog3 achieve really clean images and I wanted to know what I was doing wrong.

In this video I show 4 tests I did with both the dual base iso's. My finders were that 800iso gives you the cleanest signal when shooting low light and if you over expose but a stop or two (make sure you don't clip any highlights) then by bringing it down in post, you'll get the best results.

12,800iso is noisier but if you take the same steps then you'll again get the best results.

There is a great video by Oren Soffer (co-DP of The Creator) who says "there is still a bit of a noise floor at iso 12,800 on the FX3, which we really embraced on The Creator"

Even easier ways: use your histogram. Push the histogram as far to the right with exposure as you can without "piling up" (clipping) at the right. Technique is know at ETTR (expose to the right). NEVER NEVER NEVER use the "M.M." meter. Also, set your zebras to 94+ and expose as bright as you want, using the zebras to determine what highlights you want to keep (or let blow).

I assume you're not using Cine EI but perhaps explain that.
