There are hackers in this event. I was playing against someone who somehow was able to have 4 Sabrinas in their hand. The game only allows two of the same one in their hand.

10:06 I use the red card a lot and quite effectively. A good rule of thumb is to compare the total number of cards on hand to the remaining draw pile, and usually if opponent has 6 cards on hand or more from using professors research

I was low-key wondering how all of the 200 people I have battled kept getting the cards they wanted at the start. While I'm here using my deck normally and getting 45 wins still cause yk I am actually "good" and don't rely on cheap tactics

I made it to 50 wins today with a similar cheese deck with only one zapdos ex. You peck away a couple turns, usually against water decks, and then you drop a bomb each turn after and win if you weren't killed before that. Put a couple fossils (I even put kabuto and kabutops just to have better meatshields in case of dragonite) in to have a way to stall a turn against exeggutor or something if you go first.

Now I'm thinking of maybe just doing a bunch of instant conceding just to make the grind faster for everyone else.

Potion is useful for some situations I'd say for actual tournament play it comes in clutch just because you could survive 1 more turn

Personally, even when I know I'm going to lose, its still fun to play it out. It takes away my enjoyment if I concede, and I would feel a bit offended if my opponent conceded within the first 3-5 turns, but that's just me😅

Play PokéDex when you have Ball and Oak in hand. If Misty is there, Oak first. If not, Ball then Oak for Misty.

I've been running a dark deck with several poison options and I've been beating a lot of these "meta" players. Arbok comes in clutch paired with Sabrina because you can pull a benched opponent in and then have them locked.

I keep running a charizard/moltres ex deck and seems to be doing okay even though it takes a little longer but I never concede as I like playing it out to see what they do next

Wonder of they silently nerfed Misty. Played around 14 games. Got tail 6-7 times in a row. When I finally got one head, it was only one and against electric deck. Guess I'm just very unlucky

I run mine with gyarados frosmoth blastoise ex pokeball and research

I use a single x speed since I only have one blastoise right now. Sleep from frosmoth is super cheesy lol

Misty might be rng based, but there is no penalty for trying. You ether get free energy or stay at the same pace as your opponent.

I noticed running a deck with multiple Pikachu Ex had the same effect. As soon as I slap down more than one Pikachu or Zapdos ex down in first hand they just quit lol

Ain’t no damn garuntee on lapsed from event. I finished all the quest things, including 20 w on expert and still haven’t got one. Got 7 butterfrees tho
