Also GPS drift can get people banned as Niantic think a person is Spoofing. GPS drift isn't the fault of the user, just the organisation that does said GPS tracking.

But banning you for having multiple accounts or sharing your account is just dumb

Been spoofing with my main since 2018. Got some soft ban but that's about it. The number one rule is to respect the cool down and at least spend some to their predatory mtx

sharing a single account is understandable but I don't understand the multiple account one. I know a lot of people that do it even on separate devices unless that's the only exception. unless if it means multiple on one device which in that case it would only allow a single way of connecting an account for the first time then locking it to that. like connecting a Google account the first time would only let you do that. I honestly run multiple devices and accounts for the longest time now but I'd say it's just an inconvenience to some since you'd have to carry all those around and manage them, even carry around extra batteries.

I've been playing with 7 accounts for years and never got caught. I got to be a pokemon master and catch them all there on Pokemon Go because my Anime Story ended and TPC replaced me with Liko and Roy.
