I really love presses to handstand. I'm barely just getting my handstand, which I'm thrilled about haha. Can sorta do a wall assisted HSPU but nowhere near a crow to handstand. I'm constantly going back and forth which one is the coolest, but its really all of them! Lately feel like a tuck planche to handstand looks the most badass. Anyway, keep the great content coming Paul!

One thing about entries. Is that stable consistent entries comes from strong stable handstand resting position

I love this! I can only do a few things in this frog. I can move my legs a small amount, and drop my head and push into a handstand but my head has to be on the ground first. Then I can kick and push up. Not very good lol. Also my handstand negatives to crow are fast and laughable 🤣 but it's fun working it 💪

My problem is that i can do crow and one legged crow but i just cant levitate both of my legs. Everytime i go forward and tuck my head i always end up hitting the mat. Any help?

So in the beginning of the video i saw your crow and had to look up my own recently recorded.
I noticed my hips/spine are much more vertical. Now i do have longer legs then you and so for me to be able to rest my knees on my elbows, also means that hips has to come up higher i guess.
But i also guess this is not a "bad thing" since it just means i put more weight onto the shoulders as you explained. My arms have a perfect 90 degree bent when im doing it btw.
I still struggle with the balance, since its not something i do very often, although my goal is free standing HSPU.
So i will start to do the crow more often now.
But one thing is sure, my hips are going absolutely NOWHERE when i try and lift it higher along with the legs :D
I would love to be able to just stretch out my body and then hold the bottom position of a HSPU.

3:25 - How can I descend slower like you are able to do? I've been working on the eccentric part of this movement, but the problem is my legs go down really fast and land on the ground pretty much as soon as I start to retract them. I have been practicing and getting better but the speed is still too fast. Any tips on how to achieve a slow descent?

Can I use it to learn handstand? I am strong enough to hold crow with no legs on arms for like 10-15 sec but it's hard to catch balance in handstand

Hi I'm some trouble. When I press myself up I always go to overbalance and have to bail out any tips for me to not go falling forwards after pressing up ?

I really interested in this skill, but I hate kick to handstand for many reasons.

I don't like uncontrolled bursting movements, I don't feel safe, I'm a big tall guy and i fear of falling hard, because of the lack of good muscles in my hands, back and core, I fear of putting pressure on the back and create injury, my flexibility teacher got a disc injury in her neck following this. I just hate the idea of doing something like that, it feels fundamentally wrong.

I do see pressing to handstand in a slow and control way more appealing and promising that I have the right strength and build to hold it in a healthy way.

Is there anyway to build it without the kick to handstand?
