If you're feeling stuck when it comes to sermon ideas, this video is for you! Get inspired and find new ways to approach your preaching.

Here's the thing: Ideas that change the world don’t need to be new every time—they just need to be true every time.

In this video, I explain why you should reuse some of your old ideas in your sermons and share how you can repeat your content without feeling like your preaching is stale.

I have been using the Preaching Cheat Sheet for years. It is gold. (What do they need to know/why do they need to know it, What do they need to do/why do they need to do it). And the perspective of using your greatest hits is relieving. Thanks always for your insight.

Hi Carey. Been following you for years and very much appreciate your voice to church and business leaders. I'm a pastor and a business leadership coach. In my work with pastors, I try to help them uncover the deepest, most compelling truths that move them and are the most important aspects of discipleship/the kingdom of God. I believe these constitute their VALUES. These values then should form what discipleship looks like in their church. And these values must become (in your words) their Greatest Hits. These are the timeless truths that they must be communicating throughout the entirety of their preaching and their ministries. By tying the greatest hits to the definition of discipleship in a church, pastors make discipleship simple (not easy), memorable, and portable (easy to share with others). It focuses ministry and increases the effectiveness of a church's impact on people. So I'm doubling down on your message here and emphasizing why it's essential for people to work on identifying their greatest hits and how to use them strategically throughout their ministry.

My Pr. Never preaches from notes ....he just asks the Holy Spirit to speak through him.
Is that simple.
